District Departments

The superintendent is responsible for the successful management of the school district by providing leadership related to the vision set forth by the Board of Education.

The Treasurer’s office is responsible for all accounting, payroll and financial reporting requirements of the District. The Treasurer of an Ohio school district serves as the Chief Financial Officer and reports directly to the Board of Education. Many of the duties and responsibilities of the Treasurer are outlined in various sections of the Revised Code.

The Riverside Local School District Personnel Department, under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent, oversees all personnel related matters, including employment of all faculty and staff and oversees the budget for Federal monies allotted to the district, including Title I funds. The Riverside Local School District is committed to providing a quality educational experience to all students. The Department of Curriculum and Instruction is responsible for overseeing all the teaching and learning that occurs with our teachers and students.

School nurses offer a variety of services to students. These services include health screenings; first aid; illness and injury evaluation; identification of communicable diseases/conditions; vision, hearing and postural screenings; medication monitoring and administration; health counseling and presentation/teaching of health topics.

HUMAN RESOURCES
The Human Resources Department supports all staff by posting vacant positions, screening applicants, conducting interviews and providing orientation for new employees.

The Riverside Local School District Nutrition Department is made up of a team of food professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well-being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices. 

If you are new to the Riverside Local School District, you must register your children to the District. Registration can be completed online or by appointment only at 485 Riverside Drive, Painesville Twp., OH. 

The Riverside Local School District is committed to providing a free, appropriate public education to all students. The Office of Student Services encompasses a broad pool of faculty and staff that provide a wide range of services to our students.

The Riverside Local School District provides a variety of technology tools to support student learning. Our infrastructure provides efficient district operation in a safe learning environment. The Technology Department is comprised of a dedicated team with experience in networking, systems, software applications and curricular integration.

The Riverside Local School District Transportation Department is dedicated to providing the highest level of service possible to our students and families. We are devoted to putting the safety of our students first. All Riverside drivers are trained and certified according to state mandates and have passed all state and federal background checks.
