Students create Christmas cards for those in need
Students at LaMuth Middle School - along with several elementary students at LatchKey - created 321 Christmas cards to send to a 2-year-old Indiana girl who has cancer.
Kaydence Weaver was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma and had asked for 500 Christmas cards for Christmas this year. Mrs. Ellar saw her story on the news and wanted to help. Leonbruno Insurance in Fairport Harbor has agreed to help ship all the Christmas cards to Kaydence in Indiana.
In addition, students at LaMuth created 276 more Christmas cards to distribute to local nursing homes and Tri-Point Hospital patients as well as 80 Christmas ornaments.
