Riverside Beavers Head Football Coach and Athletic Director Dave Bors has announced that he will be stepping down from his position as head coach of the varsity football team after 14 seasons. He will remain in his position as the District’s Athletic Director.

The Riverside Local School District has been awarded a $40,000 School Safety and Security Grant from the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation. 

The Riverside Local School District has been awarded $2.5 million from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce to expand their career elective offerings.

Kindergarten Registration for the 2024-2025 school year has begun. Registration can be completed online. In addition, each elementary school in the District will host a Kindergarten Kick-Off Night on May 8.

The Riverside Local School District was recently awarded a $212,755 grant from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office) through its School Violence Prevention Program.
